Bridget Hartnett, the Member in Charge of the firm’s Nonprofit and Social Services Practice, has many years of experience in public accounting which she draws on to provide high level service, counsel and suggestions for clients. She is committed to working in the social services and nonprofit areas, including educational institutions where she has responsibility for overseeing the audit engagements conducted by Sobel & Co. for the entire group. In this role, she collaborates closely with Ron Matan, who serves as a consulting partner, as well as interacting with the professionals serving on the firm’s nonprofit audit team. Bridget provides direction, training, mentoring and guidance for the staff as well as being recognized as a key contact for the firm’s nonprofit clients. In addition, Bridget is also responsible for reviewing and overseeing the preparation of nonprofit tax returns. This enables her to deliver advice based on a realistic understanding and familiarity with each client’s unique situation.
