Audits of Employee Benefit Plans

At SobelCo, we understand there are challenges for Plans to stay up to date with the latest Department of Labor (DOL) requirements to remain in compliance. We audit a variety of plans including 401(k), 403(b), profit sharing, and Employee Stock Ownership Plans (ESOP). In addition, we audit public companies subject to filing Form 11k with the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC). We will perform a variety of transactional tests surrounding eligibility and participant data, contributions, payroll, distributions, loans, and expenses to ensure your plan is operating effectively and in compliance with the DOL.

In addition to testing the transactions applicable to a defined benefit plan, including participant data, contributions, distributions, and expenses, we will review the actuarial report and benefit obligation of the plan to ensure the Plan is being funded properly and is compliant with the plan document.
